Design Concept:

The style for this wedding was classic southern charm with a little preppy flair.  The couple met at the University of Virginia and wanted to reflect their southern background as well as keep with a casual preppy style that suited their personalities.  We achieved the classic southern charm by using a very neutral color pallette, mostly whites and greens with a few pops of light blue, with more traditional flowers of mixed varieties of hydrangeas and roses.  We added a little preppy flair by sticking with very clean and simple rounded arrangement styles as well as adding a solid navy stripe throughout the design scheme (matching the navy of the University of Virginia and the bridesmaid dresses.)

Here are the bridesmaid bouquets and bridal bouquet.  We stuck with simple white roses with green hypericum for the bridesmaids bouquets so they would really show against the dark navy dresses, and for the bride's bouquet we gave her "something blue" by adding the blue dutch hydrangea and white calla lilies, a symbol of beauty.

For the groom's boutoniere we matched the bride's calla lilies and for the groomsmen matched the bridesmaids with roses.

"Working with Erin at J&M Home and Garden was a pleasure right from our first meeting. Erin listened to what I envisioned for my wedding and made it work within our budget. When I saw what she set up on the day of my wedding I was literally awestruck. It was better than I could have ever imagined. It was perfect."
